The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with COMEDY CENTRAL, has announced more than 70 additional shows taking place at more than 25 venues throughout New York City, now added to its 2012 schedule, highlighted by two events in partnership with The Paley Center for Media: a reunion of the creative minds behind the landmark TV series The Ben Stiller Show and a Conversation with Denis Leary in celebration of his new publication Merry F***in' Christmas.

Tickets are currently on sale for UP Comedy Club's roster of stand up and sketch shows, Maria Bamford, Jim Breuer, Jo Koy, Ted Alexandro, Robert Klein, Kyle Kinane, THE SECOND CITY'S NUT-CRACKING HOLIDAY REVUE and the debut of WHAT THE TOUR GUIDE DIDN'T TELL YOU: A CHICAGO REVUE.

The 16th Annual Hollywood Film Awards, presented by the Los Angeles Times, has announced that two-time Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro will be honored with the 'Hollywood Supporting Actor Award' at the festival's Hollywood Film Awards Gala Ceremony for his fantastic performance in David O. Russell's 'Silver Linings Playbook.'

The 16th Annual Hollywood Film Awards, presented by the Los Angeles Times, announce that Academy Award winning actress Marion Cotillard will receive the 'Hollywood Actress Award' for her distinguished performance in Jacques Audiard's 'Rust and Bone,' a Sony Pictures Classics release, at the Hollywood Film Awards Gala ceremony on October 22.

Lookingglass Theatre Company will open its 25th Anniversary Season with Metamorphoses, based on the Myths of Ovid, written and directed by Lookingglass Ensemble Member Mary Zimmerman. The show will play tonight, September 19 - September 28, 2012. The return of Lookingglass' seminal production, coinciding with the 10th Anniversary of the Broadway run, will open at Lookingglass in the fall of 2012 and will then move to Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage.

On the heels of his starring role in the hit movie "Think Like A Man," actor and comedian Kevin Hart announces he will extend his "Let Me Explain" tour which moves from sold-out theaters to arena dates this fall. Hart has performed for more than 334,000 fans during the 2011 and 2012 theater run of "Let Me Explain." THIS IS 40 is coming to theaters on December 21st 2012 from Universal Pictures. The comedy drama is written and directed by Judd Apatow and stars Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Megan Fox, Jason Segel, Melissa McCarthy and Charlyne Yi. The film is the highly anticipated sequel to the comedy 'Knocked Up'.

HBO/Cinemax has released the 2012-13 programming overview.

HBO has confirmed the second-season debuts of the acclaimed series ENLIGHTENED and GIRLS, with both shows scheduled to kick off ten-episode second seasons in Jan. 2013.

Showtime kicked off its portion of the TCA Summer Press Tour with a slew of announcements, including a swan song for THE BIG C, billed as 'a special limited run series consisting of four one-hour installments.'
