A Jewish Theater Company and New York's first one dedicated to Sabbath-observant artists, will present A DYBBUK FOR TWO PEOPLE, Bruce Myers's acclaimed two person adaptation of S. Ansky's classic Jewish play THE DYBBUK directed by 24/6's Co-Founding Artistic Director, Yoni Oppenheim. The production will play on December 28th at 3:00 pm, at the JCC in Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Avenue at 76th Street New York, NY 10023. Mr. Jones is a two-time Tony Award winner, two-time Obie Award winner and alumnus of the American Theatre Wing Professional School. CeCe Black, Anki Leeds, and Marva Smalls will serve as Gala Chairs. The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) has selected John Hurt, Stacy Keach and Dame Diana Rigg as the 2014 recipients of The William Shakespeare Award for Classical Theatre (Will Award), which recognizes artists who have made significant contributions to classical theatre in America. The Beech Street Foundation will be awarded the Sidney Harman Award for Philanthropy in the Arts. The awards will be presented at the Harman Center for the Arts Annual Gala on Sunday, October 5, 2014, hosted by STC at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) and the National Building Museum (440 G Street NW).
