Anne Hathaway Set to Take Part in Songs from CABARET Concert to Benefit Public Theater, 10/24

The Public Theater announced today that Public Theater alumna and Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway, who played Viola in the critically acclaimed 2009 Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night, will perform a one-night-only concert, Perfectly Marvelous: The Songs of Cabaret with Anne Hathaway and Friends, on Wednesday, October 24 at 7 p.m. at Joe's Pub to celebrate and support The Public Theater's revitalization of its downtown home at Astor Place. Member tickets on sale now. Single tickets go on sale on Tuesday, October 2.

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, with host Joseph Gordon-Levitt and musical guest Mumford & Sons (5.0/12 in metered-market households), dominated its time period. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, 'Saturday Night Live' averaged a 3.0 rating, 13 share in adults 18-49.

Last night's Saturday Night Live, September 23rd, featured host Joseph Gordon-Levitt giving a Magic Mike-inspired strip tease, dancing to 'It's Raining Men,' and portraying the 'son' of Dos Equis' 'Most Interesting Man in the World.' The episode also aired a mock ad making fun of undecided voters and Weekend Update's Seth Meyers taking on a gaffe President Obama made about Washington being unable to be fixed from inside D.C. The American Film Institute (AFI) announced today that LINCOLN, directed by AFI Life Achievement Award recipient and Academy Award®-winning director Steven Spielberg, and released by DreamWorks Pictures/Twentieth Century Fox, in association with Participant Media, will have its Official World Premiere on Thursday, November 8, as the Closing Night Gala of AFI FEST 2012 presented by Audi.

Looper is a science fiction action film directed by Rian Johnson with a time travel plot. The film stars Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Emily Blunt. The film noir combines strong corporate influences for dealing with criminal organizations, technology for the time-travel machine, as well as a bloody plot.
