Marena Perez, principal dancer of the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico, and Daniel Ramirez, principal soloist of the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico, will appear as guest artists in the Midstate Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. The Performances will take place on December 8 (Evening) and 9 (Matinee), 2012 at the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center in York, Pennsylvania.

Making Books Sing (MBS), the critically acclaimed New York-based non-profit that promotes children's literacy and social development through professional theater productions and arts-in-education programs will, in conjunction with The Louis Armstrong House Museum and the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College will present the world-premiere Off-Broadway musical LOUIS ARMSTRONG: JAZZ AMBASSADOR with book by Myla Churchill (MBS's "A Band of Angels") and featuring music made famous by Louis Armstong. Nimbus Dance Works's 9th season marks the company's most extensive year of performances and programs to date.
