COMEDY CENTRAL has once again joined forces with Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions for its third bi-annual special event, 'Night Of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert For Autism Education.' Taping on Saturday, October 2 from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, the benefit for Autism education programs will feature Stewart hosting an evening filled with live performances, sketches and short films from a roster of comedy all-stars. Tickets for the 'Night Of Too Many Stars' go on sale on Monday, August 2, through www.ticketmaster.com or www.beacontheatre.com. Guests may also purchase VIP Benefit tickets by emailing nightoftoomanystars@eventassociatesinc.com. The Maldives have been added to the No Depression Festival lineup, as the Punch Brothers will unfortunately no longer be able to attend this year. The festival will take place Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington, just outside Seattle. The all-day event will feature The Swell Season, Lucinda Williams, The Cave Singers, The Maldives, Alejandro Escovedo, Chuck Prophet & Sera Cahoone.

Warner Bros. Heads to Comic-Con with Record 14 Series

Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG) is returning to Comic-Con International: San Diego in unprecedented fashion in 2010. A star-studded lineup of performers, producers and other members of the creative teams of a record 14 series from Warner Bros. Television, Warner Horizon Television and Warner Bros. Animation will be on-hand for panel sessions, screenings, media appearances and autograph signings. This will mark the largest contingent of talent from WBTVG ever assembled for the world's leading pop culture convention. (In 2009, WBTVG featured 12 television series at Comic-Con.)
