The Segal Centre for Performing Arts and BMO Financial Group will present the Montreal premiere of RED by John Logan, a captivating look into the life of iconic Abstract-Expressionist painter Mark Rothko. Directed by Canadian stage legend Martha Henry, this six-time Tony Award-winning play will be presented in the Segal Theatre from tonight, November 25th to December 16th, 2012.

John Logan - the writer of James Bond's upcoming SKYFALL - has officially pitched and sold Bond 24 and 25 to Bond bosses Barbara Broccoli Michael Wilson. The next two films will tell a two-part story with Daniel Craig reprising his role of 007. It's tentatively set for a 2014 release.

Riedel reports that 'She's interested in Logan's play - as yet untitled - because, says a source, "a one-person show isn't as risky as shouldering a big musical." That - and the fact that Mengers is a hell of a character.'

Actors Theatre's Artistic Director Les Waters Makes Directing Debut with LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT, 10/11

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein have announced that Waters will stage his inaugural production as Artistic Director with Long Day's Journey into Night by Eugene O'Neill. O'Neill's epic drama will play a limited engagement of 24 performances in the Pamela Brown Auditorium at Actors Theatre of Louisville as part of the Brown-Forman Series. It opens tonight, October 11 and runs through October 28.
