Today, SHOWTIME announced premiere dates for a number of its highly-anticipated new and returning programs this Spring.

Producers Howard and Janet Kagan announced today that due to popular demand, the limited engagement of NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, named one of the Best Musicals of 2013 by The New York Times and one of Time Magazine's Top 10 Musicals of 2013,will extend for the third time at Kazino (45th Street between Times Square and 8thAvenue). Showtime has released a new teaser for its highly-anticipated drama series PENNY DREADFUL, which is currently in production in Ireland, for a spring 2014 premiere. The series stars Josh Hartnett (Black Hawk Down), Eva Green (Casino Royale) Timothy Dalton (The Living Daylights, License to Kill), Reeve Carney (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark), Rory Kinnear (Skyfall), Harry Treadaway (The Lone Ranger), Billie Piper (Doctor Who, Secret Diary of a Call Girl) and Danny Sapani (The Bill). The Incubator Arts Project presents its fifth annual Other Forces, a festival of work from some of independent theater's most innovative artists. Other Forces will run today, January 9 - 26, 2014.

Grammy Award-nominated singer and renowned interpreter of the Great American Songbook,Michael Feinstein, returns to Carnegie Hall with a special concert featuring a variety of love songs in celebration of Valentine's Day, on Friday, February 14 at 8:00 p.m. He is joined by special guests Laura Osnes (Broadway's Cinderella, and Maria in Carnegie Hall's The Sound of Music) andJulian Ovenden (Season Four of PBS's Downton Abbey, the West End's Finding Neverland, and as John F. Kennedy in the 'Bombshell' production on NBC's Smash).

For its 40th Anniversary Mainstage Season in the summer of 2014, the Hangar Theatre will produce four plays that offer audiences a spectrum of experiences representing the best of live theatre. Kicking off the season on June 12 is the Tony Award-winning play Red (June 12-21), a passionate and brilliant study of artist Mark Rothko as he attempts to create the largest commissioned exhibit in modern art. Second in the season lineup is the regional premiere of Around the World in 80 Days (June 26-July 5), featuring an ensemble cast of five actors playing a cast of hundreds as they take the audience on a theatrical adventure based on the classic novel by Jules Verne. Next is the rocking and hilarious musical Little Shop of Horrors (July 10-26), which finds a blood-thirsty plant from outer space taking center stage. The season concludes with the regional premiere of the Pulitzer-nominated play Other Desert Cities (July 31-August 9), in which a family's personal and political demons take the audience on a shocking ride. Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein have announced that Actors Theatre continues its 50th Anniversary Season with Thornton Wilder's Our Town. Widely regarded as one of the finest plays ever written by an American, Our Town will be directed by Obie-award winning director Les Waters. The production, part of the Brown-Forman Series, will begin previews on January 21, open on January 23 and run through February 9, 2014.

Victory Gardens Theater, the award-winning Chicago theater known for its hard-hitting, politically relevant new plays like Ameriville, Oedipus el Rey, and Mojada, is searching for Chicago gospel choirs to participate in the World Premiere of The Gospel of Lovingkindness by Victory Gardens Ensemble Playwright Marcus Gardley, directed by Artistic Director Chay Yew. Set in Bronzeville, the show examines the toll gun violence can take on individuals, families and a community. The Gospel of Lovingkindness runs February 28 - March 30, 2014 at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

By popular demand, Victory Gardens Theater adds three performances of its Co-World Premiere of Appropriate by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, directed by Gary Griffin. Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara announces its 2013-14 Season in its new home, the New Vic, beginning with the hit Broadway musical A Little Night Music, inspired by the Ingmar Bergman film 'Smiles of a Summer Night. Directed by Ensemble Executive Artistic Director Jonathan Fox, A Little Night Music features one of Stephen Sondheim's best-known songs, 'Send in the Clowns.' A star-studded cast featuring Piper Laurie, Stephanie Zimbalist and Patrick Cassidy will christen the stage at the New Vic.
