Tituss Burgess has joined the voice cast of Apple's upcoming animated movie musical, Spellbound. The film, which features a score from Academy Award-winner Alan Menken, with lyrics by Glenn Slater. It's directed by Vicky Jenson (“Shrek”) and also features Rachel Zegler, Nathan Lane, Nicole Kidman, Jenifer Lewis, John Lithgow, and Javier Bardem.

Oscar-nominated Baz Luhrmann is a master storyteller and pioneer of contemporary visual culture, writing, directing, and producing across film, opera, theatre, events and music. His signature blend of drama, romance, decadence and wit fuses high and low culture, a unique sonic and cinematic language and trademark theatrical aesthetic.

Apple Original Films’ “Luck” features the voice talents of stars Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, Flula Borg, Colin O’Donoghue, John Ratzenberger and Adelynn Spoon. Nathan Lane, André De Shields, Jordan Fisher, Jenifer Lewis, John Lithgow, Nicole Kidman, and Javier Bardem have joined the voice cast of the Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation's new animated musical feature, “Spellbound.” Rachel Zegler (“West Side Story,” “Snow White”) will provide the voice for the leading role of “Princess Ellian.'

Eva Noblezada (“Hadestown,” “Miss Saigon,” “Yellow Rose”) leads the cast as “Sam.' other voices in the cast include Jane Fonda, Flula Borg, Lil Rel Howery, Colin O'Donoghue, John Ratzenberger, Adelynn Spoon, and Whoopi Goldberg.

A highly-familiar actor on both screens, big and small; Wallace Shawn will be premiering two podcasts of his playwrighting prowess - THE DESIGNATED MOURNER beginning June 25, 2021; and GRASSES OF A THOUSAND COLORS on July 9, 2021. André Gregory directs both audio six-parters with Larry Pine and Deborah Eisenberg joining Wallace in THE DESIGNATED MOURNER; and Jennifer Tilly, Julie Hagerty, and Emily Cass McDonnell joining Wallace in GRASSES OF A THOUSAND COLORS.

Alan Menken appeared on the season finale episode of eleven, a UK-based arts and theatre podcast that releases a weekly interview with leaders in the theatrical sphere.  In the episode, he discussed collaborating with Lin-Manuel Miranda for new adaptation of The Little Mermaid, his recent EGOT win, the future of theatre amidst the pandemic, and more.

He is the originator of the popular American television programs American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Pose, Hollywood, Feud, Glee, and The New Normal, among many others.

The 2019 Sonoma International Film Festival (SIFF) is celebrating 22 years of film, food, wine, and spirits Wednesday, March 27 to Sunday, March 31, 2019. John Lasseter has been named Head of Skydance Animation, it was announced today by David Ellison, Chief Executive Officer, Skydance Media.

It is announced today that US film and television star Jack McBrayer will make his West End debut in the role of Ogie in Waitress, which will begin preview performances on 8 February ahead of its official opening night on 7 March at London's Adelphi Theatre.
