The Gatlinburg Songwriters Festival will take place in downtown Gatlinburg and the surrounding area from August 18th-21st. Nestled in the heart of The Great Smoky Mountains, the highly-anticipated and prestigious three-day conference and live music event will feature nightly shows, showcasing an array of musical talent spanning multiple genres with more than 25 #1 hit songwriters and 60 selected songwriters.

The Onomatopoeia Theatre Company is presenting the New York City premiere of “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” this July at the Gene Frankel Theatre.

As Always, Jimmy Stewart is set to play at Theatre West on Saturday, July 9th at 8pm and Sunday, July 10th at 3pm. Theatre West is located at 3333 Cahuenga Blvd. West, in Los Angeles, CA 90068. The show is written by Steve Nevil and Ted Snyder, directed by Ted Snyder, and produced by Dina Morrone for Theatre West. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Burning Coal Theatre Company will present its production of What If If Only (US premiere) and Air (world premiere) by Caryl Churchill, directed by Ana Radulescu, June 9 - 26, 2022.  This production, directed by Burning Coal’s Associate Artistic Director, will be performed at Burning Coal’s home, the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604. 

A staged reading of the new musical comedy “Rolf(e)” will be presented on Saturday, May 21 in two performances – 2:00pm and 7:00pm – at the Iowa State Historical Building auditorium in Des Moines. The event is free and open to the public, although advance reservations are required.

Inspired by William Rowley, Thomas Dekker and John Ford’s The Witch of Edmonton, the show will begin a 4-week regional premiere run on Thursday, March 17 in the Jerry Russell Theatre at Stage West.

Starring James Stewart and John Wayne (together for the first time), alongside Vera Miles, Lee Marvin, John Carradine and Lee Van Cleef, THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE tells the engrossing story of a senator (Stewart), his old friend (Wayne), and a despicable outlaw called Liberty Valance (Marvin).

The Huntington announces the cast and creative team of its second production of its 40th anniversary season, the dark comedy Witch by Jen Silverman, directed by Rebecca Bradshaw, running from October 15 to November 14, 2021 at The Huntington's Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. Running time of the show is 90 minutes with no intermission.
