Four-time Primetime Emmy Award Winner Michael Learned has joined the presenter line-up for the '168 Film Festival,' a red carpet awards show designed as an international celebration of faith in film. Nissan Heisman House Returns to ESPN's College Football Season

Just in time for the start of the college football season, Nissan and ESPN are bringing The Nissan Heisman House back, giving fans a glimpse of what it might be like if the winners of the Heisman Trophy lived and played together under one roof. While lighthearted in approach, the unique marketing campaign is part of Nissan's ongoing support of the Heisman Trust's year-round community support and charitable efforts. Josh Walker, a cast member of the upcoming Broadway revival of Side Show and its recent Kennedy Center staging, has written a new musical about Post-Impressionistic French painter Henri de Toulouse Lautrec and the Moulin Rouge. Toulouse: A New Musical has a score composed by Walker, with a book by John David Nelson, and lyrics by both Walker and Nelson. A workshop is currently taking place in Chicago with presentations scheduled for August 29 - 31, 2014. Walker will also play the title role of Toulouse Lautrec. (more...)

OK let me start off by saying, Babs she ain't and thank God for that. OK, now before you all form the lynch mob, I love Babs. But if anyone is going to even attempt to put on "Funny Girl" the worst thing they could do it try to pass off an imitation of an icon. And Sarah Rose Davis in Village's current production manages to pull off carrying the show with aplomb while still putting her own stamp on the role. (more...)
