The New York Times reports today that Brian d'Arcy James and Anika Noni Rose will lead the 'On A Clear Day You Can See Forever' workshop, directed by Michael Mayer, at the Powerhouse Theater as part of this year's New York Stage and Film series at Vassar College.

According to Variety, actor John Cullum has signed on to reprise his role of 'the Interlocutor' in The Scottsboro Boys. The Kander and Ebb show is headed to Broadway this fall.

According to Michael Riedel of the New York Post ON A CLEAR DAY's director Michael Mayer and playwright Peter Parnell have been working hard at revising the deluded story. Riedel surmises 'In the original, the main character was a kooky young woman who, in a past life, was an English aristocrat. In the new version, the young woman is a young man who, in a past life, was a black female jazz singer.'

Broadway veteran James Moye will headline 'The Songbook Series,' directed by John Znidarsic, Monday, May 24th at 6pm at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. The cast of THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS, which ended its twice extended, sold-out run at Vineyard Theatre on Sunday, April 18, will record an Original Cast Album of the musical on Friday, April 23rd, it has been announced by Vineyard Theatre Artistic Director Douglas Aibel. The cast album of THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS will be recorded and released by JAY Records. Release date TBA.

THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS was previously scheduled to run through April 4. Now in previews, THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS has its official opening night on March 10.
