Montalvo Arts Center kicks off its 2019-2020 Carriage House Concert Series with The Hit Men, the legendary rock supergroup that helped rocket countless songs to the top of the Billboard charts. The Hit Men present the greatest, from Elton John's a?oeCrocodile Rocka?? to Journey's a?oeDon't Stop Believing,a?? intertwined with fascinating backstories from their days rubbing elbows with rock royalty in a concert declared by The Iowa Source a?oean intoxicating ride through the most magnificent years of rock 'n' roll.a?? Known for their showmanship and sheer talent, the five-man group has collectively won multiple Gold and Platinum Recording Awards, Emmy nominations, Telly Awards, and more, performing alongside the likes of Frankie Valli, Carole King, Cat Stevens, Three Dog Night, The Turtles, The Who, and other mega-star acts of the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

The Country Music Hall of Fame said it best when they opened the Outlaws and Armadillos exhibit in May of 2018, Bobby Bare originated “Outlaw Country” when he became the first artist of the era to gain control of his productions, leading to the likes of Willie, Waylon and the boys following suit. In celebration of the Country Music Hall of Famer's 84th birthday on April 7 and over 60 years in the music business, SiriusXM's Outlaw Country will air an all-star tribute concert recorded on the 4th annual Outlaw Country Cruise. The Hit Men, starring musicians and singers who performed and recorded with Elton John, Cat Stevens, Journey, Jim Croce, Three Dog Night, The Rascals, The Turtles, Carly Simon and more, perform music from the 60s and 70s at Mayo Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 8 pm. Tickets are $39-$59.

PTP/NYC (Potomac Theatre Project), in association with Middlebury College, proudly presents its 32nd repertory season, its 12th consecutive in New York City, in a limited Off-Broadway engagement at The Atlantic Stage 2, located at 330 West 16th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. The Hit Men return to Stage One with Time Travel Tour, an all new show including performances of Number 1 hits not included in their original show, plus a new multimedia presentation. After decades of helping deliver dozens of hits with the likes of Paul McCartney, Elton John, Rod Stewart, and Carly Simon, THE HIT MEN the music industry's youngest senior citizens have finally taken several large steps toward stardom on their own terms, with original music that bears no other names but theirs.

Project Y Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of GREAT AGAIN, an evening of plays in two parts: The Test by Crystal Skillman (directed by Jessi D. Hill) and In the Line by Chiori Miyagawa (directed by Kristin Horton and choreographed by Sonoko Kawahara). This double bill of new plays was commissioned by Project Y Theatre Company, written as a response to the November 2016 election and presented as the centerpiece of the 2nd Annual Women in Theatre Festival dedicated to broadening opportunities for women playwrights. GREAT AGAIN runs through June 24 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres with opening set for Tuesday, June 6.
