Elektra recording artist Ed Sheeran is shaping up as the first true star of the new year as his GRAMMY-nominated single, 'The A Team,' ascends to #10 at CHR/Top 40 radio outlets across the country. What's more, the track -- featured on the British singer/songwriter's acclaimed debut album, '+' -- is a multi-format favorite, currently up to #6 at Hot AC outlets (where the song has remained on the chart for a format-leading 38 weeks), as well as a top 20 smash on Billboard's all-encompassing 'Hot 100.'

COMEDY CENTRAL is coming up aces with MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and The Mirage Hotel & Casino to present "COMEDY CENTRAL Vegas," a weekend of uncensored stand-up comedy featuring some of the raciest and raunchiest comedians from the #1 brand in comedy's roster including Dave Attell, Anthony Jeselnik, Jim Norton, Amy Schumer and Nick Swardson, "COMEDY CENTRAL Vegas" will take place on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23. Tickets are on sale now.

Veteran program executive Doug Vaughan has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Special Programs and Late Night Programming, NBC. The announcement was made today by Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC, to whom Vaughan will continue to report.

From 8-10 p.m. ET, 'The Biggest Loser' (2.4 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall) maintained 100 percent of its rating last week for the show's time-period season premiere, despite the addition this week of competition from original comedies on CBS.

In its first week (January 8-11, 2013) in its new time-slot, "Nightline" ranked No. 1 versus its CBS and NBC competition in Total Viewers and in the key Adult 25-54 demo, topping CBS' "Late Late Show Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.426 million and 649,000, respectively) and NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.584 million and 751,000, respectively), according to Fast National Preliminary Live + Same Day Nielsen data.

From 9-11 p.m. ET, Dateline NBC' averaged a 1.4/4 in 18-49 and 5.6 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its fourth, 'Dateline' grew by 45 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.6 rating from a 1.1), by 50 percent in adults 25-54 (2.1 vs. 1.4) and 45 percent or 2.1 million persons in total viewers (6.6 million vs. 4.5 million). For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., 'Dateline NBC' reported a 1.6/5 in 18-49 and 6.4 million, tying for #1 in the hour on ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and ranking #1 outright among those networks in women 18-49.
