On the next episode of SUPERGIRL on The CW titled "The Darkest Place", while Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) tries to clear his name after being accused of a murder committed by another vigilante, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) heads out on a solo mission to rescue Mon-El

Everyone surrounding Kara -- James, Winn, Alex, Mon-El, and J'onn-- went through a major life change on this week's episode of SUPERGIRL. James and Winn debuted their combined creation of The Guardian, Mon-El dealt with whether he wants to be a hero or not, and J'onn received a threatening blood transfusion. Most poignantly, Alex came out to Kara in a stunning portrayal by Chyler Leigh. Meanwhile, the DEO team battled an alien parasite that proved to be a dangerous match even for Supergirl and the Martian Manhunter. The acting in this episode, especially from Chyler and Jeremy Jordan, was truly some of the best we've seen this season.

Alex and Maggie teamed up again to bust an underground alien fight club run by a woman named Roulette. My favorite part of the episode? A small guest appearance by Laura Benanti as the hologram of Kara's mom.

As previously announced, Jason Robert Brown will direct his two-hander musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS in London this fall, starring Samantha Barks and Jonathan Bailey as Cathy and Jamie. The production will run at the St. James Theatre starting tonight, October 28, and playing through November 26, 2016.
