As part of the closing week of the Brenda Starr, Reporter: The Art of Dale Messick exhibit at the Society of Illustrators (128 East 63rd Street New York, NY 10065), The Waverly Writers Collective will present a staged reading of Reporter Girl, a full-length play written by Laura Rohrman (My Life As You at Studio 54/Shetler), Dale Messick's Granddaughter and co-curator of the exhibit.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) today announced the 2019-20 Season, which features seven plays by women, a world premiere historical drama, two East Coast premieres, and three provocative plays with music, according to Artistic Director Sean Daniels and Executive Director Bonnie J. Butkas.

Between the Threads is directed by Coral Cohen who also conceived the piece, and features original music by Violinist Zoe Aqua. The limited run features an all-female-identified cast who helped develop the piece.
