The Mayo Performing Arts Center heads into September with a lineup of rock, pop and a parody of Harry Potter!

Over 120 performances will be held on stage between July 2013 and June 2014. Highlights include a diverse theatre series featuring Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Tony-nominated BRING IT ON, Tony-Winning MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, ROCK OF AGES and Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT; contemporary performers such as Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins, Michael W. Smith and Clint Black; classical artists including Sarah Chang and Itzhak Perlman, comedians including Drew Carey, Joan Rivers, Jason Alexander and Jim Belushi, and many more (see schedule below).

Kritzerland has announced a new limited edition cast album, the first-ever CD release for: A TIME FOR SINGING, Original Broadway Cast Recording, with Music by John Morris and Lyrics by Gerald Freedman and John Morris.

Taking the stage to perform chart topping hits, Jay Black, former lead singer of a hit band, along with The Happenings featuring original lead singer Bob Miranda at the Colden Auditorium at Queens College today, February 9th.

The Jay Black & The Happenings show at the Colden Auditorium has been postponed due to weather. The new date will be Sunday, March 24th at 3 pm. Two of the Upper West Side of Manhattan's most renowned Cantors - Rebecca Garfein, Senior Cantor of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, and Dan Singer, Cantor at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue - will perform at the Enrico Caruso Room at Grotta Azzurra Ristorante in Little Italy tonight, August 28, at 8 PM. Both singers are opera-trained and have performed on operatic and concert stages all over the world and will offer an exciting program of memorable arias and American Songbook favorites.

Teaming up to sing their chart topping hits, Jay Black, former lead singer of Jay and The Americans, and Gary Puckett, former lead singer of the 60's rock group, The Union Gap, come to The St. George Theatre on Saturday, February 18th.

On Thursday, August 11, the 33rd annual Seaside Summer Concert Series at Coney Island, hosted by Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, will welcome El Gran Combo, Our Latin Thing: A Tribute to the Fania Allstars and the Maria Torres Dancers to the annual Latino Music by the Sea show.
