NEW YORK MUSICAL FESTIVAL and LEAVING EDEN, LLC are announcing the world premiere production of LEAVING EDEN, with book and lyrics by Jenny Waxman, music by Ben Page, additional music by Ada Westfall, and directed by James Monaghan as an Official Selection of the 2019 New York Musical Festival's Next Link Project.

On The Quays returns to The Green Room 42 on Sunday, June 23 at 7:00pm and 9:30pm for Stonewall 50|WorldPride, the largest Pride celebration in the world, with "50 Years of DIVAS", the fifth installment of the #howaboutlove concert series. The evening will be a night of fierce, ferocious fabulousness paying tribute to the Divas who provided the soundtrack to the last 50 years of the worldwide PRIDE movement that started right here in New York City.

Five years ago, Tony Award winner Idina Menzel made her long-awaited return to Broadway, teaming up with her Rent director Michael Grief for Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's original musical If/Then! Love is in the air at PlayMakers Repertory Company. That's because the musical romance SHE LOVES ME opened earlier this week at the Paul Green Theatre as a love letter to the Triangle to ring in the holiday season. It's a familiar story, especially to fans of the rom-com film genre. Boy and girl meet through a lonely-hearts club ad and begin corresponding through a series of letters. Little do the pair know that the object of their affection may be someone they already know, perhaps even a coworker at that shop around the corner. Inspired by the 1937 play PARFUMERIE by Miklos Laszlo, SHE LOVES ME opened on Broadway in 1963. Two revivals followed one in 1993 and the other in 2016. The latter revival, starring Laura Benanti, Zachary Levi, Jane Krakowski, and Gavin Creel, broke the Guinness World Record for being the first Broadway show to be live-streamed. If the plot sounds familiar, it just might be because Laszlo's 1937 play also spawned the 1940 Jimmy Stewart film 'The Shop Around the Corner,' the 1949 Judy Garland movie musical 'In the Good Old Summertime,' and the 1998 film, 'You've Got Mail,' starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced initial casting for the 30th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which takes place on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26, 2018 at New World Stages

Bring It On: The Musical tells the story of the challenges and unexpected bonds formed through the thrill of extreme competition. With a colorful crew of characters, an exciting fresh sound and explosive dance with aerial stunts, this hilariously universal story is sure to be everything you hoped for and nothing like you expected.

The 24th season of the Adirondack Theatre Festival will feature the nostalgia-filled dramatic comedy The Jedi Handbook. The show will open at the Charles R. Wood Theater, located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, and run from July 21st-27th, with a preview on July 20th. Performances will start at 7:30pm and will include a matinee on Wednesday, July 25th.
