But according to a recent staement released by a show respresentative, Grant will not be able to partake in opening night.

The Grinch, starring in Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, visited MSG in celebration of the production that performs at The Theater at Madison Square Garden from December 13-December 30. The Grinch showed off his basketball moves, met fans and players, and promoted the show at Sunday's Knicks game against the Phoenix Suns. Acclaimed Theatre Company, Tall Stories' smash-hit ROOM ON THE BROOM flies into the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue from today, 21 November 2012 until 13 January 2013, bringing a witch, her cat, a dragon, a few friendly animals and much more.

Xiomara Reyes and Eric Tamm will lead the opening night cast of American Ballet Theatre's The Nutcracker at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 7:30 P.M. Choreographed by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, the holiday classic will be given 12 performances through December 16 at BAM.
