Brooke Waggoner recently confirmed U.S. tour dates in support of her fifth studio album SWEVEN, available now via Swoon Moon Music.

For Black History Month, introducing a new dramatic and musical telling of the African-American experience narrated by Allan Harris and accompanied by a trio of the country's finest musicians. The Bridge 'Bringing America Together' is set for 8:30 PM at (Le) Poisson Rouge, New York, 158 Bleeker St.

Loretta Lynn: Still a Mountain Girl, premiering Friday, March 4 at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings) during Women's History Month as part of the 30th anniversary season of THIRTEEN's American Masters series.

Brooke Waggoner confirms U.S. tour dates in support of her upcoming fifth studio album SWEVEN, available January 15 via Swoon Moon Music. Kicking off on January 8, Waggoneer will play shows including Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and will play with Wilco at NPR's Mountain Stage.

Nashville band, The Delta Saints, who recently released their album BONES on August 7, 2015 have been touring the world in support of their debut album with Loud & Proud Records.  BONES was produced, engineered and mixed by Third Man Records alum, Eddie Spear who has assisted on projects with Jack White, Arctic Monkeys and Neil Young to name a few. 

Smoke Fairies are set to release a holiday-themed collection of 10 songs entitled WILD WINTER. Last year, the LP sold out entirely when it was released in limited edition run and sold exclusively Rough Trade Record Store in the U.K as the December Album of the Month. On November 20, Full Time Hobby will release the album via all digital and physical retailers. Listen to the title track below!

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College continues its 2015-16 season today, November 14, 2015 at 2pm with the return of three-time Amateur Night at the Apollo winners Black Violin.  Celebrating the September 18, 2015 release of their newest album, Stereotypes, this classically trained violin duo inspires young people to get fired up about classical music with their unique fusion of classical, hip-hop, jazz, blues, and R&B. Recommended for ages eight and up.  Tickets are $18 and can be purchased at BrooklynCenter.org or by calling the box office at 718-951-4500 (Tue-Sat, 1pm-6pm).

Fresh from her stint as Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago, Rumer Willis and her "nonsexual life partner" Tye Blue took Feinstein's/54 Below by storm with Homage, their soulful and decidedly jazzy cabaret show. Thoroughly enjoying their New York City cabaret debuts, the talented duo had no high concept for the evening. "We're not trying to reinvent cabaret," Blue said. They sang the songs they love to sing in the car when driving around Los Angeles together. As eye rolling and groan inducing as this concept may sound, it must be noted that this simplicity ensured that each and every number had the enthusiastic audience energized and left them applauding and cheering with abandon.
