Spanish Artists in New York (Artistic Director Ignacio García-Bustelo) presents the New York premiere of Alberto Conejero's The Dark Stone, a pulsing story of difference and connection set against the turmoil of Spain's Civil War (September 23-October 2 at Repertorio Español, 138 E 27th St; in English with Spanish subtitles).

Thematically expansive within its intimate performance space, the paradoxical primordial soup swirling in COSMICOMICS blends the essential elements of earth, air, fire, and water with music, storytelling, ballet, and absurdist humor.

From April 17 to 29, New Stage Theatre Company, under the direction of Ildiko Nemeth, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a re-staging of its 2014 production 'Cosmicomics,' derived from the Italian novel of the same name by Italo Calvino, translated by William Weaver, adapted for the stage and directed by Ildiko Nemeth. 

Following a sold-out weekend of performances in early March, Nimbus Dance returns to the Nimbus Arts Center stage with ANIMA, featuring a world premiere by celebrated international choreographer Yoshito Sakuraba, and two iconic works by Artistic Director Samuel Pott.

Since 2010, Nimbus Dance has drawn together professional dancers, youth of all backgrounds, and local celebrities to present Jersey City Nutcracker.

Nimbus celebrates its 15th Season at BAM Fisher on March 20th and 21st with a soulful program that includes Artistic Director Samuel Pott's Falling Sky (world premiere 2019, NJPAC) which contrasts humanity's indomitable strength with the catastrophic consequences of climate change.

For the 10th consecutive year, NimbusPRESENTS the local holiday favorite: Jersey City Nutcracker. Set to Tchaikovsky's renowned orchestral score, Jersey City Nutcracker tells the story of two children's city adventure, following them through fantasy, adversity, and celebration, with lessons about friendship and community along the way. This year's performances once again features two exciting components: video mapping and projection designed by award-winning video artists Laia Cabrera & Isabelle Duverger. Also included will be a pre-show Winter Carnival with games, concessions, and craft vendors.

Nimbus Dance returns to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on November 14 at 7 PM, accompanied by musicians from the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) in a collaboration that brings together the two acclaimed New Jersey non-profit arts groups. The evening features Nimbus' world premiere of Falling Sky, choreographed by Artistic Director Samuel Pott.

Celebrating eleven years and thousands of nominees, the New York Innovative Theatre awards took place at Mason Hall at Baruch Performing Arts Center.

The Theater for the New City presents The New Stage Theatre Company's Garden of Delights, written by Fernando Arrabal and directed by Ildiko Nemeth (NY Innovative Theatre Award nominee), with original music by Jon Gilbert Leavitt (Outmusic Award winner). Garden of Delights runs now through December 2, 2012 in a limited engagement at Theater for the New City's Johnson Theater, located at 155 First Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets in New York City.
