Carl Lumbly, Margo Hall and More Join Marin Theatre Company's FENCES; Cast Announced!

Marin Theatre Company, in association with Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, announces the casting of its spring production of August Wilson's Fences, directed by Derrick Sanders. Fences, which won the 1987 Pulitzer Prize and 1987 and 2010 Tony Awards, will feature veteran film and television actor Carl Lumbly as Troy Maxson, Steven Anthony Jones, the artistic director of Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, as Jim Bono and award-winning actor, playwright and director Margo Hall as Rose, as well as Oregon Shakespeare Festival's Eddy Ray Jackson as Cory, Adrian Roberts as Gabriel and Tyee Tilghman as Lyons. MTC's production of Fences will run from April 10 through May 4.

Comedy Central Renews KEY & PEELE, BRICKLEBERRY and DRUNK HISTORY

Fresh off a strong launch to its fall season, Comedy Central keeps the good news rolling in as the #1 brand in comedy has renewed three hit series, 'Key & Peele,' 'Brickleberry' and 'Drunk History,' it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, COMEDY CENTRAL. 'Key & Peele' receives a fourth season renewal and is executive produced by Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Ian Roberts, Jay Martel and Joel Zadak. 'Brickleberry' receives a third season renewal and is produced by Fox 21 and executive produced by Daniel Tosh, Waco O'Guin and Roger Black. 'Drunk History' receives a second season renewal and is executive produced by Derek Waters, Jeremy Konner, along with Gary Sanchez Productions' Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy and Owen Burke. All three new seasons will premiere in 2014.

Know Theatre of Cincinnati is thrilled to announce its fall show, Bull by Mike Bartlett. Bull will open November 1, 2013 and run through November 30, 2013. Bull is the companion piece to COCK, also by Mike Bartlett, produced by Know Theatre in the spring of 2013. The cast is comprised of Kate Glasheen, Dylan Shelton, and Jay Stratton*, and George Alexander and is directed by Brian Robertson with lighting and scenic design by Andrew Hungerford, sound design by Doug Borntrager, and costume design by Noelle Wedig.

No previous experience is required and it is not necessary to come with a partner. From 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm there is a beginners' workshop, and the caller walks everyone through the patterns of each dance. Vibrant and spirited music will be performed by what is probably the U.K's most high energy contra dance band, Vertical Expression, making their Manhattan debut.
