Artistic Director of the internationally acclaimed Donmar Warehouse, Michael Grandage, today announced new details surrounding the new Donmar season through until February 2011 including. Casting has been announced for Polar Bears; David Leveaux has been pronounced director of Simon Gray's The Late Middle Class; von Kleist's The Prince of Homburg has been added to the season; new events in celebration of Sondheim's 80th birthday - in addition to the production of Passion - have been revealed; and Michael Grandage has been confirmed to direct Derek Jacobi in King Lear.

The Donmar's Artistic Director Michael Grandage has announced the new Donmar season through until February 2011, including full casting for Mark Haddon's Polar Bears, The Late Middle Classes, The Prince Of Homburg, Elena Roger in Passion, and Derek Jacobi in King Lear.

David Hirson was born in New York City and was educated at Yale and Oxford. He is the author of two plays for the theatre, La Bête (1991) and Wrong Mountain (2000), both of which have been produced on Broadway. He has received numerous honours for his work, including the 1992 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy. The original Broadway production of La Bête was nominated for five Tony awards in 1991. A collected edition of his plays is published by Grove Press. He is currently working on a new version of Die Fledermaus for the Metropolitan Opera.

Broadway In Chicago, along with producers DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd., are pleased to announce that individual tickets to the Broadway production of SHREK THE MUSICAL will go on sale on February 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

Ken Stott returns to GOD OF CARNAGE after creating the role of 'Michael' in the West End production. Stott is appearing with the support of Actors' Equity Association. The producers gratefully acknowledge Actors' Equity Association for its assistance of this production.
