Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons and Rev Run will present the award. The benefit will be held at Capitale (130 Bowery Street) from 6:30-9:30pm with photos beginning at 6 pm. On Monday, May 11, 2009, the Lower Eastside Service Center held its 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner and Silent Auction at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City, hosted by Melissa Russo, WNBC Anchor and Government Affairs Reporter. LESC proudly honored three distinguished citizens for their commitment of service.
