Richard Skipper Brings CAROL CHANNING IN CONCERT To Cape Cod, 8/30-9/2

RICHARD SKIPPER, the 4-time MAC Award winning celebrity tribute artist, brings his critically- acclaimed show 'CAROL CHANNING' IN CONCERT to Cape Cod for a 4-Night Only Special Engagement prior to this Fall's Off-Broadway run. A portion of proceeds from each ticket will benefit The Dr. Carol Channing & Harry Kullijian Foundation For The Arts. The performances will occur Monday August 30th through Thursday September 2nd at The Madeira Room Vixen located at The Pilgrim House in Provincetown.

Forget the Olivier's, the Hepburn's or the Royalty of Europe. The other day Carol (Channing) got to meet Yo Gabba Gabba! The group is a popular kids' show currently airing on Nick jr. DJ Lance Rock, Muno (the red cyclops), Foofa (the pink flower bubble), Brobee (a little hairy green monster), Toodee (the blue cat-dragon) and Plex (the magic yellow robot) joined 'Good Day LA' for a sing-a-long and dance. Carol says 'Brobee has my father's eyes.' The Yo Gabba Gabba! show entitled 'There's A Party In My City' will be doing a 60 city North American live tour that kicks off on August 27! The Suite Life of Zach and Cody's Kim Rhodes will Host this one night only event as a number of celebrated Broadway veterans including Mary Jo Catlett, Carole Cook, Jason Graae, Ilene Graff, Sam Harris, as well as students from Creative Planet School of the Arts (www.cpsoa.org) will be joining Carol Channing as they gather together for a one night only event at UCLA's Royce Hall for the purpose of raising money and awareness with regard to the need for arts in the public school system. Exposure to the arts in school, builds self-confidence, self-discipline and teamwork. And, ultimately these things create better, safer schools for our children. 'You and I don't need to save the arts. We need to help the arts save our children,' says Carol.
