Following its past sold-out Christmas musicals (Sunday in the Park with George, Little Shop of Horrors, La Cage aux Folles, A Little Night Music, Sweet Charity and Pippin), Menier Chocolate Factory announces the casting for its hugely anticipated revival of the Sondheim / Furth musical Merrily We Roll Along as its Christmas 2012 show.

Award-winning actress Janie Dee returns to Curve to play the title role in Artistic Director Paul Kerryson's production of Michael Stewart and Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly! This production reunites Dee and Kerryson following their collaboration on The King and I in 2010. The production opens on Wednesday 5 December, with previews from 30 November, and runs until 12 January 2013.

The 7th Annual Women at Work Festival will feature solo shows and short plays by and/or about women, September 23 through October 7 at Stage Left Studio. IN THE SUMMER PAVILION begins performances on Friday, October 12th for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 3rd.

But few, if any, have inhabited those two worlds as dramatically and comprehensively as David Rothenberg. Although never himself a 'star,' Rothenberg's multilayered life brought him contact with Broadway's brightest lights, as well as prison riots, political campaigns, civil rights sit-ins, and a Central American civil war. It all is recounted in his searing memoir, Fortune in My Eyes: A Memoir of Broadway Glamour, Social Justice, and Political Passion.

Atlantic Theater Company presents the New York premiere of HARPER REGAN, by Oliver Award winner Simon Stephens, starring an ensemble cast featuring Vandit Bhatt, Christopher Innvar, Mahira Kakkar, Jordan Lage, Madeleine Martin, Mary McCann, Mary Beth Peil, Gareth Saxe, Peter Scanavino, John Sharian and Stephen Tyrone Williams, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch. CONFESSIONS AND CONVERSATION-the newest work by the celebrated playwright, performer and longtime La MaMa artist Jean-Claude van Itallie -- will debut at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St. in Manhattan) for four performances only September 20 to 23. Written and performed by Mr. van Itallie, CONFESSIONS AND CONVERSATION is directed by Rosemary Quinn. CONFESSIONS AND CONVERSATIONS is presented by La MaMa, one of the first productions of the internationally-renowned theatre's 51st season.

Trevor Nunn directs Alan Ayckbourn's A Chorus of Disapproval opening at the Harold Pinter Theatre this Autumn. The cast comprises Rob Brydon, Nigel Harman, Ashley Jensen, Jessica Ellerby, Barrie Rutter, Paul Thornley, Susan Tracy, Banham, Daisy Beaumont, Georgia Brown, Rob Compton, Matthew Cottleand Steven Edis.

Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre launches its 25th Anniversary Season with Brian Friel's THE FREEDOM OF THE CITY with previews set to begin October 3 at the Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street), directed by Ciarán O'Reilly.

Previews begin tonight, August 24th, for If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet, a new play by Nick Payne, directed by Michael Longhurst. According to published reports, Monty Python's Spamalot, a new musical lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, directed by Christopher Luscombe, will move to the Playhouse Theatre following its current run at the Harold Pinter Theatre. After closing at the Pinter on September 9, the show will open at the Playhouse on November 14, where it will play through April 13.
