Janie Dee Stars In HELLO, DOLLY! At Curve Leicester For Christmas; Replaces O'Connor

Award-winning actress Janie Dee returns to Curve to play the title role in Artistic Director Paul Kerryson's production of Michael Stewart and Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly! This production reunites Dee and Kerryson following their collaboration on The King and I in 2010. The production opens on Wednesday 5 December, with previews from 30 November, and runs until 12 January 2013.

But few, if any, have inhabited those two worlds as dramatically and comprehensively as David Rothenberg. Although never himself a 'star,' Rothenberg's multilayered life brought him contact with Broadway's brightest lights, as well as prison riots, political campaigns, civil rights sit-ins, and a Central American civil war. It all is recounted in his searing memoir, Fortune in My Eyes: A Memoir of Broadway Glamour, Social Justice, and Political Passion.

Written and performed by Mr. van Itallie, CONFESSIONS AND CONVERSATION is directed by Rosemary Quinn. SPAMALOT to Move to Playhouse Theatre in November

According to published reports, Monty Python's Spamalot, a new musical lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, directed by Christopher Luscombe, will move to the Playhouse Theatre following its current run at the Harold Pinter Theatre. After closing at the Pinter on September 9, the show will open at the Playhouse on November 14, where it will play through April 13.
