The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, today announced the return of their signature free community events: the Tribeca Drive-In (April 18-20), Family Festival Street Fair (April 27), Tribeca/ESPN Sports Day (April 27), and Family Screenings (April 21 and 27).

The film stars Amanda Seyfried ('Les Miserables', 'Mamma Mia!') as American porn star Linda Lovelace. Mo Mandel regularly appears on the hit show Chelsea Lately and starred opposite Hank Azaria in an NBC sitcom last fall called Free Agents. Mandel has also made appearances on Modern Family, Happy Endings, Conan, Love Bites and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He has his own highly rated Comedy Central Presents Half Hour Special and has recently released his first CD, "The M Word," which he recorded Live at Comedy Works!

Comic star on the rise, Mo Mandel, is set to bring his hysterically funny routine to Comix At Foxwoods. Mandel will be closing out November with four hilarious comedy shows at Comix, starting Thursday, Nov. 29 at 8 p.m., and continuing Friday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. General admission tickets are on sale now for $20 ($30 the day of), and VIP admission tickets for $40 ($50 the day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

In 2006 (I think... my mind is a little fuzzy), I had the privilege to be part of the original cast of "Don't Quit Your Night Job"-- an all Broadway Improv show. The show was created by Sarah Saltzberg, Steve Rosen, and David Rossmer. (PS - go see Steve and David in "The Other Josh Cohen" which starts previews Wed at the SoHo playhouse) all of them comedic gold. Now... it may seem like I'm milking my friends here, but I wouldn't post it if it wasn't true! Anyhow, I always had a fantasy of writing a sketch for the show involving David Hyde Pierce and Brian d'Arcy James. Why? Let me finish...
