New York Theatre Workshop presents What's It All About? Bacharach Reimagined, music by Burt Bacharach; lyrics by Hal David and others; musical arrangements by Kyle Riabko; conceived by Kyle Riabko and David Lane Seltzer; directed by Steven Hoggett, beginning performances Tuesday, November 19 at 7pmat NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. The enduring music of Burt Bacharach is given new life as musician and actor Kyle Riabko (Spring Awakening, Hair) performs his unique, soulful arrangements of the Bacharach songbook with an eclectic group of young musicians and performers. Steven Hoggett, whose choreography has been featured in such diverse works as Once, Peter and the Starcatcher, andBlack Watch, returns to NYTW, this time as director. What's It All About? is a re-introduction to the timeless music of Bacharach through the eyes and ears of a new generation.

Singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot, whose career has spanned 50 years and produced numerous #1, Top 10 and Top 40 hits, including 'If You Could Read My Mind,' Carefree Highway' and 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,' will appear at the Gallo Center for the Arts at 7:30 pm tonight, September 30.

Tall and sexy 'matinee idol' handsome Broadway and London West End actor/singer Jeremiah James performed at Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal Sunday September 22 with his all-new show Choose Love. As special guest star, James made a wise choice with his high school friend the beautiful Cherish Lee. So, with two very appealing looking artists onstage, how can you miss? The show was more than off to a grande start, before it began. Add as musical director the prolific David O, and it doesn't get much better than this. On bass Oliver Steinberg accompanied, and on percussion, Emiliano Almeida.

Prescott Center for the Arts will present PROMISES, PROMISES, featuring music by Burt Bacharach, lyrics by Hal David, book by Neil Simon, based on the screenplay The Apartment by Billy Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond, and directed by Jon Meyer. The production runs September 26, 27, 28, October 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 & 12, 2013 at 7:30, and September 29 & October 6, 2013 at 2:00. Tickets are $22.00 for evening and $18.00 for matinee.
