Disney Theatrical Productions has released an exclusive first look at Matthew Croke as the title role in Aladdin ahead of his first performance in the title role on 5 June 2017 at the Prince Edward Theatre.

We're lookin' for something - and that's Effie on Broadway! As previously reported, the West End's DREAMGIRLS, starring GLEE alumna Amber Riley, has set Broadway in its sights. Now, according to a casting notice, rehearsals for the New York run will begin in 2018.

The North American tour of Disney's Aladdin celebrated its opening night in Chicago at Morgan MFG on Wednesday, April 19. The limited premiere engagement runs through September 10, 2017 at Broadway In Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph). Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Grammy Award-nominated Panic! At the Disco front man Brendon Urie will make his Broadway debut as 'Charlie Price' in Kinky Boots, beginning Friday, May 26 through August 6, 2017.

Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), opens at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on April 18 - 23.

Broadway In Chicago has announced the premiere engagement of the eagerly-anticipated North American tour of Aladdin will offer day-of-show rush tickets in Chicago for all performances, beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, April 11.

Disney Theatrical Productions announced today that Matthew Croke will star in the title role of Aladdin as the new musical based on the classic Academy Award-winning animated film approaches its first birthday in the West End. Jade Ewen will continue in the role of Jasmine and Trevor Dion Nicholas, who made his London stage debut as Genie, remains in the role.
