Max has just released the first full trailer for Season 3 of the highly acclaimed comedy series Hacks. A year after parting, Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) is riding high off the success of her standup special while Ava (Hannah Einbinder) pursues new opportunities back in Los Angeles. The nine-episode season debuts with two episodes, followed by two new episodes each week, concluding with the season finale on May 30. Watch the trailer here!

The Black Rep's production of HOLD ON is spellbinding storytelling. It is a first-rate production of the momentous events that shaped the civil rights movement and resulted in important legislation. Himes, his cast, and crew have produced an exceptional piece of theatre that honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Comedian Don Barnhart brings his nightly residency and hilarious comedy to Downtown Las Vegas. From family-friendly to no holds barred, Barnhart's comedy is smart, witty, and downright silly.

Jennifer Blowdryer will be performing at Mercury Lounge on January 17 to celebrate the release of her debut EP. Also performing will be Wavy Award winning band Theophobia, and Resurrection Song, a project by artist George Wallace & Friends.

The Comedians with Disabilities Act (CWDA) makes its debut at SF Sketchfest at the Alameda Comedy Club. This comedy troupe, founded by the late comedian Michael O'Connell, features talented comedians with disabilities sharing their unique perspectives.

The Thalians will host their annual star studded Winter Gala, with proceeds benefitting the charity.  The 2023 gala will honor actor and humanitarian, Gary Sinise, with their highest honor, the Mr. Wonderful Award, for his efforts on behalf of our service men and women through the Gary Sinise Foundation. 

SF Sketchfest has revealed the initial lineup for the 2024 Comedy Festival in San Francisco. Tickets go on sale on November 19.

Aisle Say has had the privilege of reviewing this staggering talented ensemble since 2008. Still do I remember their second show of the season, THE IMAGINARY INVALID. Forever imprinted in my mind are the enema gloves of Michael Gotch and Mic Matarrese. These two actors and many of their colleagues from the PTTP Masters Program remain today, representing the culture that founder and now retired Sandy Robbins created.
