TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans,Cynthia Harris and Simon Jones, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically-acclaimed company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' opens its 17th Anniversary season with The Late Christopher Bean, a sly 1930's comedy by Pulitzer Prize-winner Sidney Howard based upon 'Prenez Garde a la Peinture,' by Rene Fauchois. Directed by TACT Company Member Jenn Thompson, performances began at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Sunday, November 1st, 2009 at 3pm. Opening night was celebrated Wednesday, November 11th at 7:30pm. Performances will continue through Saturday, December 5th. (more...)

Hogan & Holgate Return to HEROES at Merrimack Repertory Theatre, 11/19 - 12/13

After a successful run this past winter with the Keen Company at the Clurman Theater / Theater Row, Jonathan Hogan and Ron Holgate will reprise their roles in Heroes, by Gerald Sibleyras with a translation by Tom Stoppard and directed by Carl Forsman with the Merrimack Repertory Theatre Company. They will be joined by Ken Tigar, who will be playing the role previously performed by Broadway vet John Cullum in the Theater Row premiere.
