Casting has been announced for weeks four and five of The Blank Theatre's 30th Annual Young Playwrights Festival. Being presented as digital shorts, the final three of 12 winning plays by young playwrights aged 15–19 will be available to stream on Vimeo July 22– August 11.

Head of the Class revolves around a group of overachieving high school students who meet their greatest challenge — a teacher, Alicia Gomez (Isabella Gomez – “One Day at a Time”), who wants them to focus less on grades and more on experiencing life. Watch the trailer for the new series now!

Hulu has announced that Little Fires Everywhere, staring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, will premiere Wednesday, March 18th only on Hulu!

According to Variety, stage and screen star Anika Noni Rose will guest star in two episodes of Hulu's upcoming adaptation of Little Fires Everywhere. She will play Paula Hawthorne, a  'renowned photographer and art professor in New York who becomes a mentor to Mia when she is young.'

Nickelodeon announced today that the upcoming TV movie titled HEY ARNOLD!: The Jungle Movie will feature 19 original voices from the beloved television series. The announcement comes in the midst of Nickelodeon's 25th anniversary celebration of original creator-driven animation. Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie is written and executive produced by the series' original creator Craig Bartlett and produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank. The two-hour TV movie will debut in 2017.

Last weekend the 37th annual Shakespeare Competition, hosted by the Utah Shakespeare Festival and Southern Utah University, gave out dozens of awards and scholarships to drama, dance and music students. The competition is the largest scholastic Shakespeare competition in the country, and this was a record-breaking year with over 3,000 students from 118 schools. Students came from junior high and high schools in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Wisconsin, and California.
