A MADCatfish has wiggled off his hook to leave his birthplace deep in the Mississippi Delta and is heading west to kick-off the Inaugural 1st Annual Southern California MADCatfish Blues Festival, a two-day fun-filled, power packed, foot-stomping, all-star musical extravaganza to be held at Santa Anita Park, 285 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91007 on Labor Day Weekend, Today and Sunday, September 5 and 6, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Take the songs of young composer Scott Evan Davis and expose them to a bunch of Broadway babies from Houston making an eight-day trip to Manhattan and you've got the perfect ingredients for a revue that will hit the Davenport Theatre Mainstage on Monday, June 15 at 7 pm. (The Davenport Theatre is on 354 West 45th Street.) Called Perspectives, the revue was conceived by Houston-based Jeannine Rowden and her Rowden Music Studio, and will star 12 up-and-coming performers between ages eight and 18, most of whom are from the Houston area and all of whom are Rowden's musical theater and vocal students.

NBC will air a star-studded, three-hour live special today, Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the iconic franchise 'Saturday Night Live.' NBC announced that it will air the inaugural episode of its long-running sketch comedy SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE tonight, Feb. 14 (11:30 p.m. ET/PT), one day before the primetime SNL 40th Anniversary Special (Feb. 15, 8 p.m. ET/PT).

This special event saluting NFT, for over 40 years a seminal force in Black Theater, will be hosted by Danny Glover and Debbi Morgan. Honorary Chairmen are Harry Belafonte and Hon. Mayor David N. Dinkins. The celebration will kick off at 4pm, and feature performances from Daniel Beaty, Impact Repertory Theater (Academy Award Nominee, 'Raise It Up' from the film August Rush), Chuck Jackson, and Valerie Simpson.

Woodie King, Jr.'s New Federal Theatre will celebrate its 44th anniversary with a special fundraising campaign, 'Love For New Federal Theatre.' Celebrity participants and supporters of NFT themselves, including Phylicia Rashad, Spike Lee, Alicia Keys, Melba Moore, Marla Gibbs, Robert Hooks, Roscoe Orman, Ruby Dee, Avery Brooks, Glynn Turman, Kene Holiday, Chadwick Boseman, Petri Hawkins Byrd, Impotep Gary Byrd, Debbie Allen, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker, John Amos, Robert Townsend, Leslie Uggams, Ted Lange, Andre DeShields, Mike Tyson and Danny Glover, among others, will fans will have the opportunity to order a limited number of personalized Valentine's Day messages. After 208 episodes told over nine seasons, the story of how Ted Mosby ultimately meets his children's mother will conclude with a special one-hour series finale on Monday, March 31 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). The How I Met Your Mother finale will be followed immediately by the series premiere of the new comedy FRIENDS WITH BETTER LIVES (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT).

To celebrate National Vanilla Cupcake Day, the stars of Warner Bros. Television's hit comedy series 2 Broke Girls (Mondays 8:30/7:30c CBS) are out to prove that they are 'not so vanilla' with a special limited-edition 2 Broke Not So Vanilla cupcake. The original creation will be available at all Sprinkles locations nationwide from November 1-15.
