The Film Society of Lincoln Center announces the Special Events section and “An Evening with…” honorees for the 54th New York Film Festival.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announces Ang Lee's highly anticipated BILLY LYNN'S LONG HALFTIME WALK as a Special World Premiere Presentation of the 54th New York Film Festival (September 30 – October 16) on Friday, October 14, at AMC Lincoln Square.

The film, starring Joe Alwyn, Kristen Stewart, Chris Tucker, Garrett Hedlund with Vin Diesel and Steve Martin, hits theaters November 11th.

Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning actress Anne Archer will return to the UK to star as 'Jane Fonda' in a brand new production of THE TRIAL OF JANE FONDA, written by seven-time Emmy award-winner Terry Jastrow, and directed by Joe Harmston, opening at Park Theatre on 13 July until 20 August, with a press night on 14 July.

From director Joe Wright (ATONEMENT, PRIDE & PREJUDICE) comes PAN, a live-action feature presenting a wholly original adventure about the beginnings of the beloved characters created by J.M. Barrie.
