A staged concert reading of Temple is happening at the Wharton Center on Michigan State University's campus this weekend and there is going be a very special sensory-friendly performance included. '1 in 68 people are born on the spectrum, which is astounding,' said Diane Wilcox, Director of Marketing and Communications. 'It's a huge population of people who often don't feel welcome in our environment of live theatre and we are looking to change that. Our sensory-friendly performance is specially geared toward audiences who are on the spectrum and others who have sensory sensitivities and needs.' (more...)

Set against the backdrop of New York City in the 1960s -women's liberation, the civil rights movement, and protests of the Vietnam war-Cindy searches for her place in the world. A Sign of the Times, featuring chart-topping hits from the 1960s, celebrates friendship, love, and discovering one's sense of self. This pop-fueled musical will run July 29 - September 4 at The Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. A Sign of the Times will be sponsored by Essex Savings Bank. (more...)

Resonance Ensemble (Eric Parness, Artistic Director; Rachel Reiner, Managing Director) celebrates classic plays and the new works they inspire. This year the season, dubbed "The Language of Love," will include the Edmond Rostand classic Cyrano de Bergerac, adapted by Gabriel Barre, Rick Sordelet and Alexander Sovronsky, directed by Gabriel Barre, in rep with the World Premiere of the Cyrano-inspired play Burning by Ginger Lazarus, directed by Eric Parness. The season begins on February 3 and will run through February 28, 2016 at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street).   Tickets are $18 and can be purchased at ResonanceEnsemble.org.
