On Monday, August 29, 2011, the acclaimed revival of the Tony Award-winning musical CHICAGO will welcome Tony Yazbeck to the role of 'that silver-tongued prince of the courtoom,' Billy Flynn.

Nicky Silver's play THE LYONSis getting its world-premiere this fall with previews beginning September 21 prior to an official opening night October 11 at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.), it has been announced by Vineyard Theatre artistic director Douglas Aibel and co-artistic director Sarah Stern. On Saturday, August 27, 2011, the internationally acclaimed revival of John Kander, Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse's Tony Award-winning musical CHICAGO will celebrate another major milestone when it becomes the longest-running American musical in Broadway history, surpassing A Chorus Line with a total of 6,138 performances.

Contra Costa Civic Theatre has announced that CHICAGO will take to the stage on September 16th.

In a special limited engagement, Signature Theatre is presenting the Washington D.C. premiere of E. Patrick Johnson's one-man show, Sweet Tea: Black Gay Men of the South.
