SISTER ACT, which will celebrate its one-year Anniversary on Broadway on April 20, is playing at the Broadway Theater. That's So Raven star Raven-Symoné will join the Broadway cast of SISTER ACT tonight in the leading role of Deloris Van Cartier. Symoné will take over the role from Tony and Olivier Award nominee Parina Miller, who gave her final performance on Sunday, March 18. SISTER ACT, which celebrated its one-year Anniversary on Broadway on April 20, is playing at the Broadway Theater.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Sting's new stage musical, THE LAST SHIP, which has been on track to come to Broadway before making a transfer to the UK's West End, has been postponed. A staged reading, which was to be casted this week, was originally scheduled to take place April 9-21, with direction by Joe Mantello.

Patina Miller who originated the role of Deloris Van Cartier will play her final performance in SISTER ACT tonight, March 18th. Miller made her Broadway debut in the production and was nominated for a Tony and Oliver award. As previously announced, actress Raven-Symone will replace her, beginning performances on March 27th. SISTER ACT, which will celebrate its one-year Anniversary on Broadway on April 20, is playing at the Broadway Theater.

Today, February 8, Lincoln Center filmed the matinee performance of SISTER ACT for their famed archives. The show will now be preserved amongst the Broadway classics at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center Plaza.

Deadline.com is reporting that Raven-Symoné, known most for starring on the Disney Channel's THATS SO RAVEN will take over for the Tony and Olivier nominated Patina Miller in Broadway's SISTER ACT. The cast of SISTER ACT also sang the national anthem and were involved with the official Warm-Up for the four mile run. God's Love We Deliver is the tri-state area's leading provider of nutritious, individually-tailored meals to people who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves. This winter, from January 2, 2012 through March 4, 2012, SISTER ACT will be performed on the following schedule: Monday at 7pm, Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 2pm and 8pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm. Beginning March 5, 2012, the performance schedule will be as follows: Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 2pm and 8pm, Thursday at 8pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm.

The hit Broadway musical SISTER ACT is partnering with God's Love We Deliver by outfitting runners for their 18th annual Race To Deliver on Sunday, November 20th in Central Park.
