Squeals of delight and blood-curdling screams of fright will fill the Allen Theatre as Cleveland Play House's (CPH) Centennial Season continues with a humorous and heartfelt production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. CPH's production brings this dark storyline to life with loads of gleefully twisted comedy and head-bopping doo-wop on the Allen Theatre stage now through Feb. 7. Opening night is tonight, January 15, 2016.

UtahPresents brings a beloved Sesame Street character to Salt Lake, with a screening of the acclaimed feature-length documentary I AM BIG BIRD. The film chronicles the life of Caroll Spinney, who has been Sesame Street's Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch since 1969... and at 80 years old, he has no intention of stopping. After the film, Spinney will be live on stage in conversation with KUED's Ken Verdoia.

Notre Dame's Department of Film, Television, and Theatre (FTT) announces LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, tonight, November 18-22 in the Decio Mainstage Theatre at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. Directed and choreographed by guest artist Nathan Halvorson, who previously helmed FTT's production of Cabaret (2013), LITTLE SHOP will also feature puppets by special effects makeup artist and puppeteer RJ Haddy, who was a finalist on Season 2 of the Syfy channel's reality competition series FACE OFF.

It has been announced today that cult musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors will next year embark on an Australian Tour. Starring Brent Hill and Esther Hannaford, the production will premiere at Hayes Theatre Co in Sydney in February 2016 followed by seasons in Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane.

Some three decades after its first premiere, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS still delivers on its promise to be an enjoyable romp for its audiences. In this production, there is a great deal of fun to be had in the kind of musical that offers only the slightest commentary on the world around us - 'whatever they offer you, don't feed the plants' - and mostly expects its viewers to kick back, relax and go along for the ride.
