Due to popular demand, the critically acclaimed, longest running American musical in Broadway history, Chicago has added a 2pm matinee to their March 5, 2014 date at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Both the Tuesday and Wednesday evening performances have nearly sold out, therefore adding the Wednesday afternoon matinee will allow another full house to enjoy the glitz and glam of the decadent 1920's and the tale of the murderous nightclub dancer, Roxie Hart. Winner of six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording, Chicago continues to leave audiences singing 'All That Jazz!'

Kris Jenner, star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E!, admitted on Sunday to friend Jonathan Cheban and her daughter Kim Kardashian that she loves the song 'All That Jazz' and has been taking singing and dancing lessons in hopes of starring on Broadway in Chicago. Check out the clip below!

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced that Colin Donnell (Anything Goes) and Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry (The Scottsboro Boys) will join two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in a Broadway production of VIOLET, directed by Leigh Silverman.

On Monday, January 20, the company of Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical smash Chicago is pleased to welcome back Olivier Award nominee Brent Barrett in a new return engagement to the starring role of 'that silver-tongued Prince of the Courtroom,' Billy Flynn.

Producers David Mirvish and Barry & Fran Weissler just announced that the Tony Award-winning Best Musical TITANIC, with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and book by Peter Stone, will finally have its Canadian premiere in a brand new production directed by Thom Southerland. TITANIC will play a six-week engagement at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, from July 22 through August 31. TITANIC will then berth on Broadway in the Fall of 2014.

The show also broke the Music Box Theatre house record last week for the highest grossing single performance on the evening of Friday, November 29th with $151,219. The record was then broken again on the evening of Saturday, November 30th with $151,977 gross sales. Roger O. Sutton Foster is coming BACK to Broadway, as Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that it will present two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in a Broadway production of VIOLET (first seen as part of Encores! Off-Center concert series in 2013), directed by Leigh Silverman. Based on the short story 'The Ugliest Pilgrim' by Doris Betts, VIOLET features music by Jeanine Tesori and book & lyrics by Brian Crawley.
