One of America's premier flamenco dance companies, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana will perform in Smothers Theatre at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts. 

On April 30 at the Mellon Institute Auditorium in Oakland, international superstar soprano Takesha Meshé Kizart-Thomas gives a moving solo recital dedicated to women artists who shaped the 20th century. On May 20 and 22 at the Carnegie Music Hall in Carnegie, Resonance Works presents a reimagined version of Giuseppe Verdi's heartbreaking opera masterpiece Rigoletto set in 1930s Hollywood.

Ophelia's Jump Productions will present Espiritu Flamenco, an evening of exquisite Spanish food and virtuosic Flamenco performance on Friday, October 15, 2021 and Saturday, October 16, under the stars at a private residence in Claremont.

The first performance of the summer, on Friday, July 30, will be directed by bailaora (dancer) Lakshmi Basile “La Chimi.” A tribute to the late cantaor (singer) Jesús Montoya, the evening is sub-titled Pinceladas Escandalosas (“Scandalous Brush Strokes”).

Forever Flamenco presents Canvas a?" Artistic director/master percussionist and guitarist Gerardo Morales combines traditional flamenco rhythms with his own blend of East L.A. beats and influences to create a unique and stunning edition of Forever Flamenco. Forever Flamenco presents A Night in Triana IV Forever Flamenco returns to the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A. with an incredible line-up under the artistic direction of master guitarist Antonio Triana: dancers Fanny Ara, Reyes Barrios, Alejandro Vega and Daniela Zerme o; singer Jesus Montoya; and, alongside Triana, guitarist Kai Narezo.

Caminos Flamencos, under the direction of Emmy Award-winning dancer and choreographer Yaelisa and guitarist Jason McGuire 'El Rubio,' has announced details for a three-city tour with renowned guest artists from Spain, Andres Peña and Manuel Malena. Starting at the Irvine Barclay Theater in Irvine, California on January 21, followed by concerts at the New Vic Theater in Santa Barbara on January 22, and the Brava Theater in San Francisco on January 29, the tour celebrates the end of Yaelisa's decade-plus tenure at the helm of the New World Flamenco Festival in Irvine.
