The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks) has announced the 2013 Drama League Awards Nominees for Distinguished Play, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and Distinguished Performance Award. The nominations were announced at a ceremony hosted by Patina Miller and Michael Urie this morning at Sardi's Restaurant which were streamed live online at www.BroadwayWorld.com.

Performances begin tonight for Signature Theatre's (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) production of THE MOUND BUILDERS written by Lanford Wilson and directed by Jo Bonney. The production will open March 17 and play through April 7 in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Signature Theatre (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) has announced that Martha Clarke and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins have joined the Residency Five program, which provides five-year residencies for multiple playwrights, guaranteeing three full productions of new work over the course of each playwright's residency. The other artists currently in the Residency Five program are Annie Baker, Will Eno, Katori Hall, Kenneth Lonergan, and Regina Taylor.

Signature Theatre (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) is pleased to announce that tickets go on sale and rehearsals began today for the world premiere of OLD HATS, created and performed by Tony Award winners Bill Irwin and David Shiner, with music by and featuring Nellie McKay, and directed by Tina Landau. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. Signature Theatre presents the New York premiere of THE TRAIN DRIVER written and directed by Athol Fugard. THE TRAIN DRIVER is the final production in the Residency One: Athol Fugard Series. Signature Theatre is presenting the US premiere of TITLE AND DEED, a new play by Will Eno and directed by Judy Hegarty Lovett, which opened yesterday, May 20. The production, starring Conor Lovett, will run through June 17, 2012 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Company's new home The Pershing Square Signature Center.
