The legendary Mary Testa is coming to the Westport Country Playhouse on April 15 for one night only.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand play reading of “Tenderness and Gratitude Number Four,” a new comedy written and directed by Enid Graham, on Monday, April 15, at 7 p.m.

The Farm Theater awards playwright Enid Graham with the 2024/25 College Collaboration Project Commission.

Red Bull Theater honored Julie Taymor with the Matador Award for Extraordinary Achievement in Classical Theater and the Axe-Houghton Foundation with the George Mayer Award for Extraordinary Service to Classical Theater at the Running of the Red Bulls Gala Benefit last night, Monday June 5th. Project Y Theatre Company will present the eighth annual Women in Theatre Festival, a festival of new work written and created by women, June 3-18 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street New York, NY 10019).

The Guthrie Theater has announced the cast and creative team for Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, adapted by Ken Ludwig, directed by Risa Brainin.

A Tempest (Une Tempête) will take place LIVE in person on Monday February 28th at 7:30pm at FIAF Florence Gould Hall (55 East 59th Street) with simultaneous Livestream broadcast. Video-on-Demand will be available through Sunday March 6th until 11:59 PM EST.

Red Bull Theater today announced a special event staged reading of celebrated poet and activist Aimé Césaire’s A Tempest (Une Tempête), a striking adaptation of Shakespeare's celebrated Jacobean play through a post-colonial lens, translated from the French by Philip Crispin.

Wayward Voices will close out the inaugural season with “De la Luna, Del Sol” by  Daniel Andres Blanco. A passionate actor, director, and screenwriter, Blanco partners  with Wayward Voices to workshop his screenplay for the stage. “De la Luna, Del Sol” follows introvert Emiliano De la Luna through his struggles coping with life after a  traumatic breakup.

UCSB's Launch Pad Zooms Into Action With ALONE, TOGETHER

LAUNCH PAD alumni playwrights have rallied to provide new material for UCSB's Department of Theater and Dance students. In an overwhelming response to an invitation from LAUNCH PAD Artistic Director Risa Brainin and Professor Annie Torsiglieri, 24 playwrights have written monologues and short plays inspired by the prompt a?oeAlone, Togethera?? and tailored specifically for the Zoom platform. 

Stage and screen actress Enid Graham will enjoy the first full production of one of her own plays when What Martha Did is presented in the Performing Arts Theater at UC Santa Barbara on November 15-24. What Martha Did is the 15th Preview Production to come out of LAUNCH PAD, UCSB's innovative laboratory for playwrights-in-residence, where the writer is included in all aspects of the production, from design and casting to rehearsals and marketing.
