Theatre Upstairs of Phoenix, AZ and Tyler Boettcher & Lauren Rohs will present an industry staged reading of The Red Wool, a new raucous comedy by Broadway's Jeremy Kareken (Lifespan of a Fact). The industry presentation will take place on Monday, February 10th at a private residence in New York City. Tony Award winning playwright & actor Greg Kotis (Urinetown) will star as King Ashurnasirpal II, leading a Phoenix based cast. Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox (Doubt, Tony Award) will headline a starry industry reading of a re-conceptualization of The Testament of Mary on October 1st. Conceived and directed by Michael Rader (A Christmas Story, Cirque du Soleil, Stalking The Bogeymen), this new adaptation of Colm Toibin's The Testament of Mary will feature five different women sharing the title role of Mary, each representing how different cultures around the world view Mary.

The anthology contains the 12 original short plays that premiered as part of the 2nd annual Collective:10 this past October. It also includes a special forward by Emmy-recognized actor and director Susan Aston (Actor and Director, The Actors Studio).

This season's plays, selected from over 1000 blind submissions, will also be published as an anthology.

The Collective NY has announced the official play selections for the 2014 Collective:10. Coming off of the SOLD-OUT 2013 Collective:10, the second annual C:10 was selected from over 1000 blind submissions, a record number up from last year showcasing a variety of talented writers. The 12 selected plays will be produced, directed and performed by members of the permanent ensemble and Collective colleagues, and published as part of an anthology.
