The 6th Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival is back January 18-28, 2024, ready to heat up Chicago with its annual international pageant of puppet shows and artists at dozens of venues around the city.

Experience the internationally acclaimed French production of PIAF! The Show as it tours Australia in 2024. Starring the magnificent Nathalie Lermitt. Tickets on sale December 1.

With more than 600 performances in over 50 countries and a million tickets sold, Piaf! The Show is the biggest French Musical success in the world since 2015 and it is coming to Australia in 2024. Starring Nathalie Lermitte, the Australian tour will open in Melbourne on 17 May followed by Sydney, Adelaide, Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Birdland recently presented singer/actress Karen Akers at the iconic club on Monday, November 20. The show, titled “Water Under The Bridge,” was directed by Sara Louise Lazarus, musical directed by Alex Rybeck, with Tom Hubbard on bass. Check out photos here!

BIRDLAND THEATER will present singer and violinist Edmund Bagnell in “Home for the Holidays” on Thursday, December 7 at 8:30 PM.

An Edith Piaf biopic is in the works, with plans to use AI to recreate her voice and image. The groundbreaking AI technology has been trained with hundreds of voice clips and images of the french musical artist, some of which are over 80 years old.
