In this modern day drama, Hester, a homeless mother of five fatherless children, struggles to create a home on the streets for her family. Despite Hester's fierce love for her children, poverty and desperation lead to a tragic end. In the Blood will be performed at CalArts, Coffeehouse Theater, 24700 McBean Parkway, Valencia CA, 91355.

The CalArts School of Theater premiers Kenwood Wilderness, an opera-play by Peter Parshall Jensen with original music composed by Lam Kwan-Fai and directed by Lars Jan. Kenwood Wilderness will perform in Ensemble Theater II (E400) at the California Institute of the Arts, 24700 McBean Parkway, Valencia, CA 91355. There will be a preview performance on Thursday, April 8th at 8:00 p.m. Kenwood Wilderness will run Friday, April 9th at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10th at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 13th thru Saturday, April 17th at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free and by reservation only.
