Hunting PLC announced that 'Round Up' B.F. Smith & Son Saddlery Circa 1940-1942 by Fort Worth artist Marshall Harris is the winner of the $50,000 Hunting Art Prize for 2013.

The annual National Meningitis Association (NMA) Give Kids a Shot Gala was once again an emotion filled evening but a stellar success in aiding the fight against meningitis, a potentially vaccine preventable disease. Held in the elegant ballrooms of the historic New York Athletic Club with phenomenal views of Central Park as a backdrop, hundreds of New York's movers and shakers turned out to support the cause and also to congratulate meningitis survivor & Para Olympic Gold Medalist Nick Springer, an Honorary Chair along with Ambassador & Mrs. John L. Profiles Theatre Announces Upcoming Season

Profiles Theatre Artistic Directors Darrell W. Cox and Joe Jahraus announce the 25th Anniversary Season featuring a full slate of new and challenging works premiering at the Profiles Theatre Complex on North Broadway. The upcoming season features six productions including the Midwest premieres of Wrecks by Neil LaBute, the award-winning play Cock by Mike Bartlett, Hunter Gatherers by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, In God's Hat by Rhett Rossi and Gidion's Knot by Johnna Adams. Additionally, Profiles acclaimed production of Hellcab by Will Kern, one of Chicago theatre's longest running hits, returns for the holiday season. These six productions alternate between Profiles' two venues, The Main Stage at 4139 N. Broadway and The Alley Stage at 4147 N. Broadway.

Tonight, April 22, 2013, National Meningitis Association will hold its annual Give Kids a Shot Gala. The event takes place at the New York Athletic Club, 180 Central Park South, New York tonight, April 22, 2013. Cocktails & Silent Auction begin at 7:00 PM followed by dinner & the NMA Awards. Master of Ceremonies is iconic actor Richard Thomas, a longtime supporter of NMA and winner of the organization's Nancy Ford Springer Inspiration Award.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first Blossoms Art Exhibit in 2003, the YCS special education schools selected the theme - "When words fail art speaks." The artwork on display at the Bergen Performing Art Center in Englewood from May 2 through May 27th promises to speak volumes to the eye and heart with more than 40 pieces of art in an eclectic range of mediums.

Cone Man Running Productions' is bringing the Regional Premiere of Christopher Trumbo's 2003 play TRUMBO: RED, WHITE AND BLACKLISTED to Houston. The play mounted on Broadway with a revolving door of big name celebrities playing Christopher Trumbo's father, Dalton Trumbo. Nathan Lane, Tim Robbins, Brian Dennehy, Ed Harris, Chris Cooper, and Gore Vidal all spent some inhabiting the heroically indefatigable Dalton Trumbo. In New York, the actors were not off-book, carrying the script on stage with them. Cone Man Running Productions has its three actors off-book as much as possible, only reading from the witty and wordy letters composed by Dalton Trumbo.
