The Vineyard Theatre in collaboration with Naked Angels will co-produce the world-premiere of Zayd Dohrn's play OUTSIDE PEOPLE, directed by Evan Cabnet at The Vineyard (108 East 15th Street), with previews expected to begin late December prior to an official opening in early January 2012, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director of Vineyard Theatre and Sarah Stern, The Vineyard's Co-Artistic Director.

Casting has been announced for the Fifth Annual New York One-Minute Play Festival, hosted by Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. The New York One-Minute Play Festival will take place Sunday, October 16 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street), the Off-Broadway home of Primary Stages. TheaterWorks in Downtown Hartford opens its 2011-2012 Season with the United States Regional Theater Premiere of the comic smash, The Motherf----r with the Hat, by Stephen Adly Guirgis.

PURE Theatre will present the regional premiere of Time Stands Still by Donald Margulies. Time Stands Still is directed by Randy Neale, and will feature Sharon Graci, Mark Landis, David Mandel, and Katie Smith. The show opens Friday, September 23, and will run through Friday, October 14th. This will be the opening show of PURE Theatre's Ninth Season titled Coming Home. After many years without a permanent location, PURE will be in its new home located at 477 King Street in Downtown Charleston.
