The Drama League announced today that Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce will be the honoree of the 33rd Annual Musical Celebration of Broadway, to be held on Monday evening, November 7, 2016 at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue) in New York City.

 The 7th Burbank International Film Festival, which will run September 9th through 13th, announced its full lineup today, including 100 films from 31 countries, 25 world premieres, 22 award categories, and opening and closing night screenings. The Burbank International Film Festival is open to the public, with tickets available at www.burbankfilmfest.org

Circle Theatre continues the 2015 season in July with the comedy BECKY'S NEW CAR by Steven Dietz, running tonight, July 9, through July 25. In this lively comedy, Becky Foster is caught in middle age, middle management and in a middling marriage-with no prospects for change on the horizon. Then one night a socially inept and grief-struck millionaire stumbles into the car dealership where Becky works. Becky is offered nothing short of a new life…and the audience is offered a chance to ride shotgun in a way that most plays wouldn't dare. BECKY'S NEW CAR is a thoroughly original comedy with serious overtones, a devious and delightful romp down the road not taken.

The Burbank International Film Festival is pleased to announce the 2015 program including several world premieres, and a record-breaking 700 submissions from independent filmmakers representing 31 countries. Now in its 7th year, the Burbank International Film Festival will screen more than 75 films at the AMC Theaters in Downtown Burbank from Wednesday September 9, through Sunday, September 13, 2015.

In this action-packed children's tale, based on the stories by Rudyard Kipling and adapted by Monica Flory, precocious Mowgli is raised by caring wolves, befriended by Bagheera the panther and Baloo the bear and threatened by Shere Khan the evil tiger. When Mowgli learns he is actually a human, he must decide whether to remain with the pack, or return to the human word from which he was born. What will he choose? And will he be trained in the Law of the Jungle in time to defeat Shere Khan, the most feared animal of all?

The subject of this dynamic musical masterpiece by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice is Argentina's controversial First Lady, Eva Peron. As an illegitimate fifteen year old, Eva escaped her dirt-poor existence for the bright lights of Buenos Aires. Driven by ambition and blessed with charisma, she was a starlet at twenty-two, the president's mistress at twenty-four, First Lady at twenty-seven, and dead at thirty-three. Eva Peron 'saint to the working-class, reviled by the aristocracy and mistrusted by the military' was destined to leave a fascinating political legacy unique in the 20th century. Told through a compelling score that fuses haunting chorales with exuberant Latin, pop and jazz influences, EVITA creates an arresting theatrical portrait as complex as the woman herself.

Brookfield, WI (May 6, 2015) More than 500 business and community leaders from the Greater Milwaukee area will attend The Big Event, an all-inclusive evening of dinner, dancing, and first-class entertainment to be held Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts (Wilson Center).
