Disney is currently in talks with executives of the London Palladium theatre to bring the Broadway musical to the West End in early 2016.

Disney Theatrical Productions, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and Florida Theatrical Association announced today that tickets for the highly anticipated Orlando engagement of Disney's NEWSIES will go on sale to the public on Friday, November 21 at 10 a.m. as part of the FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando series. The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Dr. Phillips Center on January 27 for a limited one-week engagement through February 1.

Disney Theatrical Productions has announced a ticket exchange program for its Broadway musicals Aladdin and The Lion King, representing a breakthrough unprecedented in commercial Broadway theatre for its flexibility, scale and duration

Disney Theatrical Productions and The Orpheum Theatre announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Friday, November 28th at 10:00 AM. Memphis' most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Orpheum stage on Tuesday, February 3rd for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, March 1st. The opening night is Thursday, February 5th at 7:30 PM.

The American premiere of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME just opened at La Jolla Playhouse and runs through Dec. 14. Chorus member Rachel M. Moore is making her La Jolla debut as a chorus member in the show and recently shared her debut experiences with U-T San Diego, 'Diary of a HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME Chorus Member.'

The Milwaukee return of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Thursday, November 13 at 7:30 pm at the Milwaukee Theatre for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, December 7. In Milwaukee, THE LION KING plays Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm, Fridays at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm and Sundays at 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm. There will be special weekday matinee performances on Friday, November 28 at 2:00 pm and Thursday, December 4 at 2:00 pm. There will not be a performance on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving). The show's five-week premiere engagement in 2008 played a sold-out run at the Milwaukee Theatre. 'Thus far sales have exceeded our expectations for the return of Lion King in Milwaukee, but there are still great seats available,' said Paul Mathews, President and CEO of the Marcus Center.

Disney Theatrical Productions, Broadway in Columbus, and CAPA announced today that tickets for the highly anticipated Columbus premiere engagement of Disney's NEWSIES will go on sale to the public on Thursday, November 13, at 10am. This Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Ohio Theatre on January 13 for a limited one-week engagement through January 19.

Adam Jacobs welcomed twin boys, Jack and Alex, earlier this year, on the morning of the company's first rehearsal for the Broadway production of ALADDIN. Tonight, the North American tour of Broadway's Tony® Award-winning smash hit musical, NEWSIES opens in Philadelphia. During its first year of touring in the 2014-15 season, the production will play 25 cities, over 43 weeks. Now according to Variety, the tour will feature a brand new song for 'Crutchie' from songwriting team Alan Menken and Jack Feldman. The duo created the song, titled 'Letter from the Refuge,' when Disney Theatrical Productions' Thomas Schumacher challenged them to add another tune as a part of the American Theater Wing series 'Working in the Theater.'
