Next month, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below is a non-profit organization with a mission to preserve and expand the art of the cabaret, honor the music of Broadway, and provide an unparalleled experience to diverse communities.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) goes upstate to honor its Founder & Artistic Director Mikhail Baryshnikov's 75th birthday. Mikhail Baryshnikov at 75 will be a day of music, art, and celebration produced by BAC to take place at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park (Tivoli, NY) on Sunday, June 25, 2023. 

Rubicon Theatre of Ventura will present the first event in the company's May Concert series on Saturday, May 13 at 7 p.m. – “AMANDA McBROOM: UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL.” The legendary singer-songwriter and actress will captivate audiences with her stunning voice and masterful songwriting in an intimate and unforgettable performance.

The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey has announced the return of the Free Summer Movies Series. Movies featured in the 2023 series include Moana on July 11, Minions: The Rise of Gru on July 18, Soul on July 25, The LEGO Batman Movie on August 8, and Into the Woods on August 15.

On Sunday April 30th at 7pm, Queer Norwegian/American artist Magnus Riise will release his debut EP, Until Tomorrow, with a blow-out concert at The Cutting Room in New York City.

The Pacific Jazz Orchestra, Los Angeles' first jazz orchestra, announced their 2023/2024 concert season lineup and primary sponsor during their official launch party on April 8th at United Recording.

State Theatre New Jersey presents Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo on Sunday, April 16 at 7:30pm. The opening act is Charlie Farren, best known as the lead singer of The Joe Perry Project.

State Theatre New Jersey and The Stress Factory Comedy Club present Tim Dillon Live on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 8pm. 

Regina Spektor has confirmed a string of July and August shows, kicking off July 28 in Milwaukee at Riverside Theater. The tour includes stops at the iconic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA (with support from Aimee Mann,) as well as New York City’s SummerStage in Central Park and more. The Boston Symphony Orchestra has announced that Elvis Costello and The Imposters with Charlie Sexton as special guest have joined the lineup for the Popular Artists Series at Tanglewood. This will be the 2003 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee's first appearance at Tanglewood.

The lineup also includes bounce legend Big Freedia, musical polyglots Thundercat, DJ Pee .Wee (aka Anderson .Paak), Big Gigantic and Alfa Mist, as well as songwriters Cautious Clay, Durand Jones and The War & Treaty. Special ensembles include Newport Jazz artistic director Christian McBride’s annual Jam Jawn, MoodSwing, Scary Goldings, and more.

The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents An Evening with David Sedaris on Tuesday, April 4 at 7:30pm. Sedaris will do a book signing after the show for all ticket holders. Tickets range from $29-$69.

The lineup will include influential musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries whose work has inspired Mr. Baryshnikov throughout his life in the U.S.: American avant-garde artist, composer, and musician Laurie Anderson, Canadian jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall, Russian–born American singer, songwriter, and pianist Regina Spektor, and more.

Fifteen musical artists will be honored for their cabaret and/or jazz artistry at the 38th annual Bistro Awards gala on Monday, April 17, 7:00 pm, at Gotham Comedy Club, 208 W. 23rd Street, Manhattan. Learn more about those being honored here!

Northern Tracks: A Canadian Mixtape is the newest original release on the Stratford Festival's worldwide streaming platform, Stratfest@Home. Each of the nine episodes shines a spotlight on a Canadian musical great with selections performed by the country's top talents. A thrilling highlight: three Oscar Peterson selections that have never before been recorded with lyrics.

The fully renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents R.E.S.P.E.C.T., an electrifying tribute celebrating the legendary Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin on Saturday, March 11 at 8pm and Sunday, March 12 at 2pm. Tickets range from $40-$98.  

David Foster will return to Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas for a two-night engagement of An Intimate Evening with David Foster: HITMAN Tour. The legendary musician, producer, and songwriter will once again be joined by special guest Katharine McPhee plus an arrange of world class vocalists, including Pia Toscano and Daniel Emmet, among others.
