Produced by Merged Work Productions (lead producers) and Jack Thomas (Executive Producer), the show began rehearsals today, and begins previews at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center on June 25, 2014, with an official opening night set for July 21, 2014.

Producers Merged Work Productions and Jack Thomas announced today the cast of the upcoming new musical, Piece of My Heart, based on the life and songs of legendary songwriter Bert Berns. The show begins previews at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center on June 25, 2014, with an official opening night set for July 21, 2014. Tickets are on sale beginning today via TicketCentral.com.

Broadway Stars Bradley Dean (A Little Night Music, Spamalot) Derrick Baskin (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Little Mermaid) and Ron Bohmer (Ragtime, Sunset Boulevard) will be appearing with Maestro Aram Demirjian and the Kansas City Symphony Orchestra at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, Missouri in OH WHAT A NIGHT! Friday April 18th at 8:00pm and Saturday April 19th at 8:00pm.

Broadway Stars Derrick Baskin (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Little Mermaid) Ron Bohmer (Ragtime, Sunset Boulevard) and Andrew Samonsky (South Pacific, Merrily We Roll Along) will be appearing with Maestro Neal Gittleman and the Dayton Philharmonic at the Schuster Center in Dayton, Ohio in OH WHAT A NIGHT! Friday April 4th at 8:00pm and Saturday April 5th at 8:00pm.

All the Way, the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, starring BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston, opened on March 6, 2014, on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre. The play is directed by Bill Rauch, Artistic Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where All the Way began its theatrical life. THE HAPPIEST SONG PLAYS LAST is the third in a cycle of plays that began with Hudes' Elliot, A Soldier's Fugue, a play about a young Marine coming to terms with his time in Iraq and his father's and grandfather's service in Vietnam and Korea. The second play in the trilogy, the 2012 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Water by the Spoonful, received its New York premiere at Second Stage Theatre in 2013. Today in 2008, The Little Mermaid opened at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre, where it ran for 685 performances. The Little Mermaid is based on the animated 1989 Disney film of the same name and the classic story of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. The musical's book is by Doug Wright, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman (written for the film) and new lyrics by Glenn Slater. The musical had a pre-Broadway tryout in Denver, Colorado in July through early September 2007. The original cast featured Sierra Boggess in the title role of Ariel, Sean Palmer as Prince Eric, Brian D'Addario and Trevor Braun alternate as Flounder, Norm Lewis as King Triton, Sherie Rene Scott as Ursula, Tituss Burgess as Sebastian, Tyler Maynard as Flotsam, Derrick Baskin as Jetsam, Jonathan Freeman as Grimsby, and John Treacy Egan as Chef Louis.

When the Tony-winning MEMPHIS closed on Broadway in 2012, producers announced that a West End production was coming soon. According to the UK Daily Mail, soon could be in 2014, at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End, following a scheduled run of THE PAJAMA GAME.
